Who is Darth Vader?
Darth Vader, considered as the greatest villain in cinema history, is the main character of George Lucas' Star Wars series. He appears in the original trilogy as well as in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. His striking features include a black helmet, armor, cape, and his iconic mechanical breathing. Born as Anakin Skywalker, he was a slave until the age of nine on the planet Tatooine. Rescued by the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, under whom he became an apprentice, a deep anger fueled by personal tragedies led the then-Jedi Knight to the Dark Side of the Force, becoming the apprentice of the evil Darth Sidious. Anakin came to be known as Darth Vader, the iconic villain of the franchise. From then on, he would enforce order across the galaxy. Despite everything, a bit of goodness still remained in Darth Vader’s heart.
