The Dark Tower looms over Mordor, an indomitable assurance of Sauron’s might, and upon its peak the mighty tyrant’s blazing eye sears the land with it’s burning gaze. 

As the pitch black spire rises out of the barren lands, it serves as an ill portent for the inhabitants of Middle-earth, a symbol of the evil soon to come, and a place for Sauron to grow his army, bide his time, and further his search for the One Ring.
