Iron Studios Marvel: Eternals - Ikaris Statue Art Scale 1/10
Marvel: Eternals - Ikaris
Floating over a pedestal of ancient ruins’ debris, the tactical leader of the immortal heroes’ team flies to combat with his fists clenched and his stern countenance prepared to face the monstrous Deviants. A loyal soldier that is proud of following orders and accomplishing his mission, capable of using his cosmic energy to project powerful beams from his eyes, and capable of flying, soaring, and floating through air and space vacuum at hypersonic speeds; Iron Studios bring the statue “Ikaris BDS – Eternals – Art Scale 1/10”, with the most powerful member of the immortal Eternals.
Living in secret on Earth for millions of years, a group of ten immortal beings sent from their home planet Olympia by the Celestial giant called Arishem, the Judge, came on a spaceship known as The Domo, to protect the humans from one of the oldest threats, the creatures known as Deviants. Named Eternals, this team of superheroes travels through growing civilizations to defend them from Deviants but are forbidden by Arishem from interfering in human conflicts, to allow them to evolve naturally. Over the centuries, the Eternals Sersi and Ikaris created a close relationship, becoming a couple. With the Deviants apparently eradicated in the 1500s, the group broke up, each of them following their path, that’s when Ikaris left Sersi, and everyone was just waiting for their return to Olympia. But the emergence of a Deviant joins the group back together to defend Earth. Created by Jack Kirby in the comics, Eternals #1 was released in 1976 and got its place in the MCU in 2021, in the movie by the Chinese director Chloé Zhao.
Played by Richard Madden, Ikaris is totally dedicated to the Celestials’ mission, capable of shooting cosmic energy from his eyes with lethal precision. In his mission, he developed a romantic relationship with his partner and confident Sersi, and eventually married her. Ikaris and Sersi loved each other deeply, living happily for more than five thousand years. Fighting against the Deviants in ancient Greece, Sprite created a story about Icarus, that died after getting too close to the Sun, therefore, in Athens, Ikaris, just like Ikarus, became one of the legends from Greek mythology. Due to his moral crisis and conflicting ideals, Ikaris left Sersi, re-encountering her with Spire centuries later in London, to gather the Eternals once more against the Deviants.
